They were part of a four-man team which tackled a 50-mile on and off-road cycle, climbing and descending Helvellyn and canoeing Thirlmere.
Corporate sponsors included Steico SE, Target Timber Systems, Fillcrete Ltd, Twinfix and Salvatori Transport.
The team finished 8th out of a field of 85 teams and were only 30 minutes behind the winners with a time of 9 hours 4 mins.
Mr Wilson followed the challenge by cycling to Paris to raise money for cancer research.
