Staffordshire Garden Products is the first UK customer to order Holtec‘s Transcut II Station.
The Transcut II is based on Holtec’s Piccolo tilting saw with a 160cm cutting length and a Stellite-armoured guide bar for the saw chain. Holtec says it can cut cleanly through a pack of hardwood or softwood in one minute and to an accuracy of 2mm.
Staffordshire Garden Products ordered the machine at Ligna. It has a starting price of £12,000.
