The company won Best Small Stand at Solex and Best New Individual Product for the Terraza Kitchen.

“If the Individual Product category win wasn’t enough, we’re also thrilled with the best small stand award,” said Simon Davison, head of commercial development. “We also saw some great customers old and new to cement our Solex success.”

Zest was unveiling its ‘at one with nature’ outdoor entertaining collection at Solex, which includes the already popular Terraza outdoor kitchen. The whole range is aimed squarely at the garden leisure category buyer.

“[It’s an] affordable outdoor kitchen that is well built,” he said. “A lovely addition to any garden. A great upsell and margin opportunity.”

Alongside the rest of the Zest outdoor entertaining range, the Terraza is supported by a retail marketing package. Kiln-dried display products are available for in store display and there is also imagery and video material to support stockists in engaging consumers.

Zest is promoting the cooking and entertaining collection in national consumer magazines in a spring and summer campaign as well as in digital media to build brand awareness and signpost customers to stockists and online retailers.

“We are delighted to have won both awards and I would like to say well done to our teams not only for the launch of the outdoor entertaining range and the Terraza but also for the dedication devoted to creating a stand at Solex that is in itself award-winning, and showcases the Zest outdoor entertaining range brilliantly,” said Mr Davison.

“The show has been fantastic for Zest, and our success on all fronts has been down to our huge commitment to understanding what todays’ consumers want, designing product accordingly, and then providing garden and leisure retailers with the right marketing support tools to sell successfully, which show feedback demonstrates they are,” added Zest’s new managing director, Andrew Baker.

“The overarching theme is guilt-free ‘at one with nature’ enjoyment of the outdoor space and the whole collection is made from sustainable slow-grown softwood sourced from PEFC certified (PEFC/16-37-1490) forests.”

At its last Solex in 2022, Zest won the same category award for its Garden Bar and Two Stool Set, now also part of the outdoor entertaining range.
