The long-awaited shortlists for the TTJ Awards 2024 voted categories will go live on Friday July 5.
Publication of the shortlists follow a two month online voting window which concluded on June 19. To view the shortlists please visit the TTJ Awards website at FINALISTS.
Finalists are named in the following categories:
• Panels Trader of the Year
• Timber Merchant of the Year
• Softwood Trader: Sawmiller of the Year
• Softwood Trader: Importer of the Year
• Hardwood Trader of the Year
• Structural Timber Systems Supplier of the Year
• Joinery Products Supplier of the Year
• Timber Garden Products Supplier of the Year
• Small Timber Business of the Year
The voted awards represent the largest exercise of its kind in the UK timber products industry, with buyers (including merchants, manufacturers, builders, contractors, architects and specifiers) voting for their best performing suppliers, rating them for value for money, customer service, product quality, product range and deliveries.
“This year we’ve once again seen high voting numbers and a huge range of timber users and buyers voting for suppliers who are giving them the best service,” said Stephen Powney, TTJ editor.
“Getting this feedback from timber product buyers is vital for the trade and we look forward to seeing the winners revealed at the TTJ Awards gala lunch ceremony in central London on September 20.”
The Timber Trader of the Year Award – the gold award in the voted categories – will be announced at the Awards ceremony and is sponsored by leading timber sector representative body Timber Development UK.
