The growth of the pallet industry in China, Japan and Korea; the results of latest research into the use of wood for the transport of food; and the impact on the sector of ‘re-industrialisation in the European Union’ will be discussed.
FEFPEB’s programme will also include an overview of the local Irish wood sector and the North American pallet and packaging industry; latest developments on phytosanitary measures; and the outcome of the second meeting of the Global Forum for the Wooden Pallet and Packaging Industry, which takes place on the first day of the congress.
