Fitted kitchen manufacturer Moores Furniture Group has struck gold after three years of effort to cultivate a proactive safety culture within the company.
The British Woodworking Fedeeration member has won a Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) gold award for occupational health and safety.
During the past 18 months, the company has received three awards as part of its safety drive – a RoSPA bronze award for the management of health and safety, and also the regional and national winning prizes of the Health and Safety Commission’s Awards for its contribution to the European Week of Health & Safety.
