Trus Joist‘s TJI joists are winning market share among George Wimpey Southern Ltd’s housing developments.
Rycroft Mead at Basingstoke and Osbourne Mews, Christchurch, are among sites where an original specification for another engineered timber I-joist has been switched to TJI joists.
Trus Joist’s design support team is providing back-up by managing the integration of the floor structure design process with the whole house plans. This involves providing a floor design analysis service of various plans tendered by TJI joist suppliers selected by Wimpey.
This process is the pilot of a new, dedicated national design service for house builders which Trus Joist is putting into place.
