The company says the move will make the branch the only timber and builders’ merchant in and around Newmarket to offer a display facility containing treated carcassing.

Construction will begin in April and the storage facility will open in the summer. “We are making this investment as a result of feedback from our customers,” said Karli Millard, branch manager.

“As an independent, customer-focused timber and builders’ merchant we respond to the changing requirements in the local market.”

The Newmarket branch is also improving its bathroom and kitchen showroom by adding the premium brand Masterclass Kitchens, alongside other products from Milano and Symphony.

A further upgrade at the branch will see an extended landscape and gardening range, which will launch in April.
