Mr Tissington joined the company on March 4, taking responsibility for UK operations covering health and safety, quality, manufacturing, warehousing and logistics.

Mr Tissington has many years of experience in the UK manufacturing and production sector; before joining W Howard he spent four years as operations director at Renold Gears, a manufacturer of chain, gears and couplings, also based in Manchester. He has also enjoyed production roles at NOV Mono and Minky Homecare Products.

“This is a new role for the business, which we have introduced as a result of our strong growth to date,” said Graham Williams, group managing director at W Howard. “I am delighted to welcome Phil to W Howard and believe his knowledge and experience will be invaluable to the company as we continue to develop and expand.”
