A Super-Blower extraction and filter system has been installed at Browns 2000 as part of the company’s multi-million pound machinery investment programme.
The Cramlington-based kitchen and bedroom door manufacturer bought the Super-Blower to cope with increased levels of dust generated by two new beam saws, a panel saw, 10 CNC machining centres and two hoggers.
The negative pressure technology injects dust-laden air into a filter inlet chamber, while the main exhaust fans remain on the clean air side to avoid contact with foreign objects.
Rochdale-based industrial ventilation engineers Indusvent supplied the system, which is designed to operate at much reduced noise levels.
