James Latham plc has been appointed a national distributor for Accoya modified softwood.
The company is stocking the timber at all eight of its distribution depots, covering the UK.
“This is a great opporutnity to develop sales of Accoya to our existing customer base and potential new users,” said Lathams director Chris Sutton. “It fits perfectly with our established product range and offers further options to joinery customers. It’s a fantastic material for external joinery and we believe we will have great success with it. “
Justin Peckham of Accoya producer Titan Wood said the company was “delighted” to have signed the deal with Lathams.
“It’s well placed to supply growing demand for Accoya on a national level, whether for windows, doors, decking, cladding or other applications,” he said. “We look forward to a long, mutually-beneficial relationship.”
