A one-step DISA dust and chip extraction system has been installed to serve a new just-in-time production area at Moores Furniture Group, Wetherby.
The eight pieces of dust-making equipment within the area are all exhausted by a four module DISA NFK 2000 chain filter system. It has a maximum extraction capacity of 20,408m³ per hour (12,000cfm) and is powered by a Combifab 30kW extraction fan. The system has a speed of 1.52m per min
DISA engineers have linked the system with ducting from three existing filters, sending waste into a silo 300m away.
DISA was also picked to upgrade the extraction facilities already in place.
Both systems, which use the company’s Superbag filter material, are guaranteed to give maximum emission levels of 5mg per m³.
