Stora Enso North America, which owns 330,000 acres of forest in Wisconsin, Michigan and Minnesota, has won certification for all its holdings under the American Forest and Paper Association’s Sustainable Forestry Initiative. The company is claimed to be the first European company to third-party certify its American forestlands under the SFI programme.
