Irish home products and building materials companies Noyeks Ltd and Newmans Sheeting Centre Ltd are to merge.
The combined operations will employ 140 people in six locations nationwide and become ‘a new force’ in the timber panel products, hardwood flooring and kitchen doors and accessories market.
Noyeks Santry outlet and Newmans will move to a state-of-the-art 52,500ft² warehouse and 13,500ft² showroom/office which will open in Santry next year.
Des Glennon, managing director of Noyeks Ltd, said the merger would improve the trading position of both companies by achieving synergies in staffing, product ranges, logistics and information technology.
He added: ‘The combined operations of the two com-panies means our customers have access to a far superior range of products and brands.’
