The Ligna forestry technology exhibition gave bandmill specialist Forestor the opportunity to promote its recently announced manufacturing partnership with Czech Republic manufacturer Pilous to an international audience.

Exhibiting under the Forestor-Pilous banner, the partners displayed a range of their products, including the biggest bandmill in their portfolio, the CTR900. This features a range of hydraulic attachments to ‘accelerate and simplify log handling and increase productivity’.

Alongside, Forestor-Pilous also featured the CTR700, CTR600 GX and the first Forestor Jacko mobile heavy duty bandmill made in Pilous’ Brno plant.

Mike Visram of Forestor said that the exhibition validated the Forestor-Pilous relationship, formalised earlier this year (TTJ March 31). ‘The partnership means we can offer high quality at very competitive prices and we’ve had a tremendous level of inquiries.’
