The final programme of speakers at the ninth annual European American Hardwood Convention to take place in Dublin on October 25-26 has been unveiled by the American Hardwood Export Council.
Representatives from the three main certification systems relevant to American hardwoods – the Sustainable Forestry Initiative, Pan European Forest Certification Council and the Forest Stewardship Council – will each give their side of the certification debate.
Filip de Jaeger from the Federation of European Parquet will speak on flooring growth, Paolo Gardino on the European furniture industries and Malte Herrmann of the Danzer Group on veneer trends.
Around 80 delegates from the US and Europe have registered for the convention.
