Masonite Europe is focusing on its mainstream door component business and will no longer sell Korlite fibreboard, MiraTEC exteriors and standard hardboard in the UK, Belgium and Holland.
New company Worsley Forest Products of Appleby, North Lincolnshire, has been set up by former Masonite sales manager Paul Worsley and will act as agent for the products from October 1.
Masonite, which was recently taken over by door giant Premdor, announced in March that it was phasing out production of its hardboard siding products to concentrate on core business activities.
