Arnold Laver has received planning permission to develop a call-collect centre selling timber and other building materials in Guiseley, near Bradford.

The company will relocate from its current White Cross site in Guiseley, where it has a Builders World, because the location’s listed building makes redevelopment difficult.

Laver will spend £500,000 refitting the new 22,000ft² site at Springhead Mills business park, which will be more trade oriented and operate as a satellite branch of the main Bradford Timber World operation.

Opening next spring, it will be the third call collect centre, with one due to open in Sheffield in February and another at Laver’s headquarters in February.
