The Paikuse sawmill, Estonia, recorded a turnover of €6.6m in the first quarter of 2002, an increase of almost 11% compared to the same period last year.
Output was 45,980m3 of sawn timber, 10,666m3 more than the same period in 2001. Exports counted for 70% of business with France and Ireland the biggest customers.
