The Institute of Wood Science‘s (IWSc) annual event has this year been upgraded to convention status and is aimed at a wider audience.

With a theme of ‘How does wood help to sustain the built environment’, the convention is being opened up to architects, engineers and specifiers, supported by presentations from some of the world’s top architectural practices.

Leading-edge science and technology in both production and application of wood will be presented at the October 10-11 Cardiff event, which traditionally attracts the timber trade, wood manufacturers, processors and academics alike.
