Shering Weighing Ltd has won a contract to service and maintain all of Biffa Waste Services‘ weighbridges.
The contract is one of the largest of its kind in the country and is tailored to meet Biffa’s exact requirements.
The deal is believed by Shering to pave the way for a new high level of service based on a partnereship arrangement.
The company recently invested more than £250,000 in two new weighbridge calibration units.
The units include two Mercedes-Benz Actros 2540LS tractor units, King GTS44/3 low loader trailers and Jungheinrich DFG 25 BS forklift trucks.
