A ‘national forestation master plan’ is to be formulated in the Philippines to help combat increasing deforestation.
Forestry experts, practitioners and agencies backed the plan during a recent symposium on forestation research and practices in Los Banos. They also agreed to intensify research to help tree farmers increase productivity and profitability.
