Homag UK’s ‘Focus on Joinery’ open house at its Castle Donington headquarters was the company’s first themed event concentrating firmly on the solid wood and joinery sector.
Examples of the Martin range of woodworking machines from Germany were on show, including sliding table dimension saws, a surface planer, planer thicknessers, advanced spindle moulders and 4-sider planer moulders.
Edgebanders from Homag and Brandt also featured alongside the full range of solid wood finishing systems from widebelt sanding specialists Bütfering. Holzma and Homag Sawtech beam saws demonstrated their capabilities in processing solid wood components.
Central to the exhibition were the Weeke CNC processing centres for the production of windows, doorsets and specialised componentry.
The Homag range of BOF routers and the Okotherm system for veneer lamination from press specialists Joos were also on show.
