Partnerships First is building 10 ‘lifetime’ timber frame homes in Norwich, designed to enable tenants to continue living there should they become disabled.
The homes at Wyldecroft, within the new Thorpe Marriott village development, will be constructed using Partnerships First’s Tee-U-Tec panel system and will allow for the later installation of a ground floor shower and floor-to-ceiling lifts.
A removable panel between the bedroom and the bathroom will provide space for a hoist to be fitted.
The £621,000 Wyldecroft joint housing inititative also involves Broadland Housing Association, Broadland District Council and the Housing Corporation.
