Computer software has been installed at the Woodworking Machinery Suppliers Association‘s (WMSA) Cromford office to help members find out about grants available for capital equipment.
The Grantfinder system, forms part of the ‘Why Buy from a WMSA Member’ initiative. Using the association’s Grantsearch scheme, full members provide the postcode of potential customers and details of the machinery type involved.
Grantfinder enables members to receive a same-day response and, for a cost, the WMSA will progress applications on their behalf.
WMSA finance director John Smith-Bodden said: ‘There is constant change in the grant and funding situation for capital equipment such as woodworking machinery. Local, national and European sources require almost daily monitoring and we are now able to do exactly that on behalf of members.’
