Nexfor‘s Sterling Roofdek OSB 3 panels have been used in an unusual low pitch roof for a private swimming pool complex in Kent.

Planning requirements stipulated that plain clay tiles had to be used on the 220m2 roof but the five degree pitch of the complex in Lamberhurst, Kent, was too shallow for them.

Contractor Tunbridge Wells Roofing solved the problem by spanning rafters with Sterling Roofdek. The laminated structure included counter battens which took the tiling battens and the tiles.
