Ten more Buildbase builders’ merchants group staff have signed up to SCA Timber UK’s timber and wood products training course.
Buildbase regional director Stephen Thompstone said: “We now have an extensive range of timber products and Buildbase aims to be at the forefront of customer service through staff training. Enabling our people to offer specialist information and advice will keep us ahead of the competition.”
Two Buildbase personnel were trained by SCA Timber during 2002. The four-day courses are tutored by Institute of Wood Science president Jim Coulson and end with an accredited examination, providing successful candidates with the Institute of Wood Science Timber Studies Award.
