SJ Whitaker & Co Ltd, timber agents of Dublin regret to announce the death at the age of 61 of Hugh Sheerin after a short illness.
Mr Sheerin was a director of the company, which he joined in 1968. Since then he had become a well known and popular figure in the trade, not only in Ireland but throughout the UK and abroad where he was appreciated by all for his openness and engaging personality.
He will be greatly missed by his fellow directors and his many friends.
