Sash windows have been renovated and upgraded at a centuries-old former coaching inn at Henley-on-Thames prior to its re-opening as a JD Wetherspoon pub.

Project architects Murdoch Bowers & Associates called in sash window renovation specialists Ventrolla Thames Valley after planning constraints on the Catherine Wheel, a listed building, ruled out new double glazing.

Windows were renovated on the front façade of the first and second floors, including the replacement of several cills and sashes to match existing windows. Ventrolla then introduced its draught-proofing and window-upgrading system to improve performance.
