Hodgson Sealants‘ Firestrip 30 Intumescent Glazing Strip has achieved British Woodworking Federation (BWF) Certifire approval.
Firestrip 30 is fully tested to the current standard BS 476: Part 22: 1987 with a wide variety of non-insulating and insulating glass types from all the major glass manufacturers.
Looking to the future, Hodgson Sealants is actively involved in fire testing to the UK and pan-European standards relating to timber doors and screens.
The company has introduced a brightly coloured printed backing paper showing the product name and BWF Certifire logo making Firestrip 30 instantly recognisable as being suitable for use in BWF fire doorsets or fire door assemblies.
