UK woodworking machinery agent Gerry Lynch, the sole UK supplier for Vertongen, said this year’s show presented a good shop window for the company’s three ranges of modular tenoners and moulders aimed at window manufacturers. The Compact, Standard and Control ranges are of a modular construction, with the top-of-the-range machines capable of producing more than 1,500 profiles.
He said small and medium-sized joinery manufacturers are now looking for a high degree of automation.
