Good marketing of laminate flooring is needed to ensure its future success, according to product expert Richard Kille, manager of the Institute for Flooring and Interior Decoration (IFR).

Speaking at the spring conference of the European Producers of Laminate Flooring (EPLF) he said: ‘Technologically, today’s products are on a very high level of development even though there are still innovations possible. What we need now is continued good marketing, which integrates technology and sales.’

Four new members have joined the EPLF, bringing the number of producers to 21 and supplier companies to 18.
