Conservationist and TV presenter David Bellamy dropped into biomass and waste heating systems supplier Talbott’s to find out more about green energy technology.

Mr Bellamy was at the company’s Stafford site to see a demonstration of Talbott’s new biomass C series, launched the following week during the Royal Show. Company chairman Bob Talbott explained features of the wide range of boilers which can burn biomass fuels including miscanthus (elephant grass), short rotation willow coppice, forest waste, sawdust and wood shavings.
