A Wrexham-based manufacturer and supplier of timber landscaping, fencing and playground equipment has switched to using Tanalith E wood preservative because of upcoming legislation restricting the use of CCA.
AE Evans Co Ltd’s commercial manager George Conway said the company had confidence in CCA as a product but felt the timing was right for a move to Arch Timber Protection‘s Tanalith E because of the legislative changes due in 2004.
Mr Conway said: “Over the next few months we will be bringing all our customers up to date with the new product and basically confirming that business with AE Evans, because of this forward planning, will be as normal.”
