The creation of a ‘roadmap’ for the European timber industry will be the central theme of the second European Wood Day.
Organised by the EUropean timber sector federation CEI-Bois in Brussels, the event is intended to be a “forum for high-level contacts between the various actors in the wood chain”. CEI-Bois hopes the delegates will include professionals and executives from European woodworking companies and federations, main decision makers from the EU and representatives of other related sectors.
“The key theme will be the ‘Roadmap 2010 for the European woodworking industries’ which CEI-Bois is currently working out to provide a strategy and action plan for future devleopment in our sector,” said CEI-Bois secretary-general Filip de Jaeger.
