Air Plants of Leicester has installed a new Multiair filter and an all-purpose pleated bag filter unit, together worth £40,000, at C Blumsom in London.
The investment follows Blumsom’s acquisition of Drysdale Timber and Mouldings from owners Ian and Mark Collins. The Drysdale mill and workforce are moving to Blumsom’s Barking site to increase timber processing capacity.
The new filter installation is an Air Plants Multiair with 112 pleated circular bags handling 34,000m³ per hour of contaminated waste.
The bag filter unit is capable of operating around the clock for 365 days per year.
