The second national Time for Timber conference aimed at construction professionals wanting to use timber as a modern construction material takes place in October.
To be held at the Sheffield Millennium Galleries and Winter Garden on October 22, the conference will discuss and explore the question “when is the use of wood most appropriate?”.
Speakers from the UK and abroad will illustrate a broad range of views by reference to completed projects across Europe.
Presentations will include how modern aboriculture benefits the environment through the art and science of timber engineering to wood and timber as an essential component in the architecture of inspirational buildings.
