A Scottish company has developed a two-wheel vehicle designed to access forest areas denied to other vehicles.
Nairn-based Ecorider sourced parts for The Hippo from all over the world and the result is a low cost, light weight, environmentally friendly machine ideal for carrying out small jobs in woodland.
Ecorider marketing manager Gavin Mackay said: “You can go places on the Hippo that you can’t get to with other vehicles so it is ideal for jobs like thinning, planting or taking out Christmas trees.”
Ecorider aims to establish a network of dealers nationwide for the Hippo, which costs around £1,700.
