Constant communication with customers helps Consultec UK Ltd keep abreast with timber frame indusry software package requirements.
The latest version of Consultec’s Timber Frame and Floors software package incorporates more than 45 new features including improved scheduling options, automatic dimensioning for plan layouts and additional editing options for gable frames.
Steve Ford, head of design at Guildford Timber Frame Ltd, said the changes will allow a significant increase in productivity and added: “We often see our suggestions incorporated into the new versions.”
Steve Griffiths, drawing office manager at Taylor Lane Timber Frame Ltd, said he is looking forward to the new panel presentaton, scheduling and rationalisation features in the new release which he believes will be even faster and more intuitive to use.
