Organisers of the Xylexpo/Sasmil international wood industry exhibition say bookings for next year’s show are looking positive.
Efimall and Cosmit, which organise the May 26-30 show at the Milan Fairgrounds, have already signed up 70,000m2 of display space and are confident of matching the 96,000m2 of 2002.
Their optimism has been buoyed by the “return” of several major manufacturing groups, including Biesse and SCM, amd encouraging third quarter GDP forecasts from the US.
The exhibition features machinery and equipment, panels, solid timber, hardware, tooling, software, semi-finished goods, glues, paints and varnishes.
