Andover-based Input Joinery has “vastly improved” its window production capacity following the introduction of an automatic Weinig window line.

The family-owned company, which predicts a £3m turnover in 2003, invested about £200,000 on the machine three months ago to boost domestic and contract work.

Other improvements include a new tracking system to make handling and set up easier in spray booths and a £27,000 Löwer profile sanding machine for de-nibbbing sprayed profiles.

The Löwer is designed to work with Abacon’s SlipCon heads which allow the abrasive strips to be mixed or alternated on the hub with replaceable combs.
