Metso Panelboard has won a €6m order to supply equipment and engineering services to a new particleboard line at Jilin Forest Industry Co Ltd in Jilin Province, China.
All the key equipment for dry screening, gluing, forming and pressing, plus saws for the press outfeed and sanding line and process automation will be delivered by Metso Panelboard which will also supply the engineering services and start-up supervision.
Annual production capacity of the line will be around 85,000m2. The plant uses wood as a raw material and the board will be used for furniture production and construction.
The order represents Metso’s third particleboard line for Jilin Forest Industry Co Ltd.
