Inspection equipment supplier Elcometer Instruments Ltd has acquired Protovale Oxford Ltd, which manufactures industrial metal detection equipment for the timber industry.
Elcometer has transferred Protovale’s commercial and manufacturing actitivites to its Manchester site and will rebrand the company “Protovale by Elcometer”.
The acquisition is designed to allow Elcometer to expand and meet growing demand from the worldwide construction, timber and utilities markets.
