The funeral and thanksgiving service took place at St John the Baptist Church, Fishpond, Dorset on January 16 of John Lowe aged 51. He had battled bravely with a long illness.
John Lowe was well known in the south-west, having worked for Atkins & Cripps since 1995. He was a charming man of integrity and was renowned for his extensive timber knowledge and attention to detail with all his customer requirements. John had a great enthusiasm for work and the outdoor life and was regarded as the perfect gentleman by all who met him. His popularity was reflected by the high numbers who attended his thanksgiving to pay their respects.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
