New Zealand timber product exporters are expected to benefit from a new weekly shipping service to Europe.
Exporters in the lower North Island are predicted to make savings on container shipping costs to Europe by using the service from Wellington’s CentrePort.
The Mediterranean Shipping Company will run 15 ships on the service, starting on February 8. The route takes about 40 days.
