Australian timber company Gunns Ltd aims to sue seven Greenpeace activists for damages after they prevented a ship from loading at its Tasmanian woodchip mill during a seven-hour protest.
The activists, who were arrested and will appear in court in March, held up the Japan-bound ship at the Triabunna mill. Gunns said the protest had caused the company costs in downtime.
