A partnership has been struck between Alpine Automation (UK) Ltd and Cullen Building Products to provide a comprehensive fixings supply service to the trussed rafter industry.
Truro-based Alpine, which supplies metal connector plates, CAD design software and plant machinery for the trussed rafter industry, said it had teamed up with specialist fixings company Cullen, of Scotland, following the introduction of its innovative Alpine Twin I-beam system and in recognition of the increasing variety of fixings needed in roof construction.
Alpine said the partnership was first discussed last November and agreement was immediately reached. The first pallets of Alpine and Cullen fixings were delivered at the end of January.
Doug Cullen, managing director of Cullen, said: “This alliance will enable us to build a closer relationship be developing tailor-made solutions for Alpine products.”
