Timber frame specialist Benfield ATT has secured Investors in People status in recognition of its personnel training and development programme.
Dr Michael Benfield, managing director of the Caldicot, Monmouthshire, business described the IiP award as “the achievement of a unified, skill-based workforce and a team dedication to developing our people”.
Among the company’s strategies to involve staff are weekly “employee forums”.
Benfield ATT recently also became “the first large timber frame construction company in the UK to achieve Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification” .
