Donaldson Timber Engineering (DTE) has opened its latest facility in Ipswich, bringing the number of factories in the engineered timber roof and floor manufacturer’s chain up to eight.
Set to serve East Anglia and the surrounding area, the 20,000ft2 purpose-built facility, which represents a seven-figure investment, is capable of producing up to 3,000 roof trusses per week. Finnjoist I-Joist engineered flooring systems will also be supplied.
Ipswich follows on from the March opening of DTE’s first Irish facility – a 20,000ft2 plant at Mountmellick, County Laois capable of producing 3,000 roof trusses per week (TTJ March 20/27).
DTE can now distribute more than 20,000 trusses weekly throughout the UK and overseas.
