A fire which caused damage estimated at around £100,000 at Monmouthshire Timber Supplies in Alexandra Docks, Newport on Saturday night is being treated as arson.
A spokesperson for the company confirmed there had been extensive damage to stockpiled wood and machinery but said it was “business as usual”.
Fire crews discovered multiple seats to the fire and these are being examined by police forensic teams.
